Single (ss)- and double (ds)-stranded DNA adsorbed onto graphene

AFM image of a ssDNA and dsDNA mixture absorbed on pristine graphene deposited on
SiO2 substrate in 1 mM Tris–HCl buffer solution containing 5 mM Mg2+ ions. 1.7µm scan.
dsDNA can be easily distinguished between ssDNA. Imaged with the Cypher AFM.
