PHB/V Spherulite

Part of a semicrystalline spherulite of polyhydroxybutyrate-co-valerate (PHB/V), crystallized at room temperature. PHB/V is a biodegradable bacterial thermoplastic. Imaged using iDrive in Dual AC™ mode in liquid, fundamental phase (left) second mode amplitude (right). 1.5µm scan.
